How in the world did we ever come to a place where male genital mutilation is not only completely accepted as a societal custom, but also embraced as a religious practice?! Truly, it is regarded as a rite of passage into this world of pain and suffering.
It’s like, after the baby boy is born, as if that’s not traumatic enough, he is then forced to suffer the excruciating pain and shock of having a very important piece of his body cut off … from the most sensitive part of his body, no less!
Just who is it (or who was it) that determined that the male genitalia was somehow flawed by the Creator?
An exposed penis (chopped off penis) is much more excitable than one which has not been circumcised. The foreskin serves the purpose of protecting a highly sensitive organ which was made that way for a very good reason. When it is removed, friction between the exposed head and either underwear or pants greatly increases the opportunities for the penis to be physically excited. The ramifications of this single completely avoidable life-long predicament are truly catastrophic to both the man and his society.
Especially in an age that is replete with instances of graphic sexual content at every turn does this physical situation take on great significance. For many adolescent boys the constant friction can keep them in a state of constant low grade sexual excitation which will infect every part of their lives. As an example, especially at school where all the coeds sit across the aisle, the distraction from studies can be quite agitating.
A fully exposed penis is a much different organ than one that has not been circumcised, as we just described. There are many other life situations which arise for boys, young adults and grown men which challenge them to a much greater degree because this vital protective barrier has been snipped off (The higher “Rape” of women is also a part of this sick equation).
Look at how we all justifiably react to the terrible female mutilations in Africa! This is also very not right for the young girls and everyone else involved. And the global outcry is having a positive effect on forever changing that barbaric custom.
Yet, where’s the outcry for baby male genital mutilation?!

NOTE: The U.S. and Israeli are the two industrial countries who do circumcision the most. And they are the most warlike nations with the U.S. having the worst crime rates especially against women. The other countries that do circumcision have higher crime rates as well.

Everybody knows women are less sensitive to pain than guys. It has something to do with childbirth. I wonder if it has to do with circumcision. One of your first senses to be stimulated is intense pain, in a brain that’s trying to wire itself.
120 years ago, routine circumcision became fashionable among the English speaking urban upper middle class. In 1950, the UK govt. stopped paying for it; ditto for New Zealand in 1969. RIC is gone in both. Between 1970 and 2000, the various Australian states and Canadian provinces stopped paying for it. RIC is down to 15-30% of babies in both. In the USA, about 55% of babies are done in the maternity ward, with more done later as outpatients by doctors. Most American RICs are still done without effective anesthesia.
Why has the USA not followed the rest of the English speaking world? Answer: Genesis 17. But there is a ray of hope: many Jewish families in Europe and Latin America no longer circumcise. When American Jews who are unaffiliated or Reform feel free to not circumcise their 8 day olds, American doctors will feel more free to discourage RIC.
It is easier to commit rape with a circumcised penis than with an intact one. If an intact penis is jammed into a dry vagina, the result is pain for the male. And since when do rapists carry KY?? The only entities willing to confront these facts are the national police forces of Norway and Sweden. These police forces have revealed that circumcised men commit 60% of the rapes. In Scandinavia, a circumcised man is a Moslem immigrant from the Third World, or the son thereof.
