Tesla vs. Einstein
“Einstein was perhaps the most irrational person ever to masquerade as a mathematician or scientist. The book explains how all of Einstein’s impossible concepts of the world around us–as well as his unintelligible attempts to mathematically express those concepts–became accepted solely through operation of The-Emperor’s-New-Clothes syndrome: the most egregious example of this syndrome that has ever occurred.” ~ Electrical Engineer and author Robert L. Henderson
“No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right. A single experiment can prove me wrong.” ~ Einstein
When once asked by a reporter how it felt to be the smartest man on Earth, Einstein himself replied, “I wouldn’t know. Ask Nikola Tesla.”
Tesla was critical of Einstein’s relativity work saying…..
“The “Theory of Relatively” wraps all these errors and fallacies and clothes them in magnificent mathematical garb which fascinates, dazzles and makes people blind to the underlying errors. The theory is like a beggar clothed in purple whom ignorant people take for a king. Its exponents are very brilliant men, but they are metaphysicists rather than scientists. Not a single one of the relativity propositions has been proved. Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.”
Nikola Tesla predicting the ultimate downfall of relativity theory…….
“… Supposing that the bodies act upon the surrounding space causing curving of the same, it appears to my simple mind that the curved spaces must react on the bodies, and producing the opposite effects, straightening out the curves. Since action and reaction are coexistent, it follows that the supposed curvature of space is entirely impossible – But even if it existed it would not explain the motions of the bodies as observed. Only the existence of a field of force can account for the motions of the bodies as observed, and its assumption dispenses with space curvature. All literature on this subject is futile and destined to oblivion. So are all attempts to explain the workings of the universe without recognizing the existence of the ether and the indispensable function it plays in the phenomena.” (Note: Einstein believed that there was no such thing as “ether” to make his “theory” work.)
Tesla also argued:
“I hold that space cannot be curved, for the simple reason that it can have no properties. It might as well be said that God has properties. He has not, but only attributes and these are of our own making. Of properties we can only speak when dealing with matter filling the space. To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view.”
Tesla also believed that much of Albert Einstein’s relativity theory had already been proposed by Ruđer Bošković, stating in an unpublished interview:
“…the relativity theory, by the way, is much older than its present proponents. It was advanced over 200 years ago by my illustrious countryman Ruđer Bošković, the great philosopher, who, notwithstanding other and multifold obligations, wrote a thousand volumes of excellent literature on a vast variety of subjects. Bošković dealt with relativity, including the so-called time-space continuum …”
Other Tesla quotes regarding Einstein and the “Theory of Reality”……..
“Since action and reaction are coexistent, it follows that the supposed curvature of space is entirely impossible ..Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. The scientists from Franklin to Morse were clear thinkers and did not produce erroneous theories. The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.”
“…My conclusions in certain respects differ from his (Einstein’s) and to that extent tend to disprove the Einstein Theory. My explanations of natural phenomena are not so involved as his. They are simpler, and when I am ready to make a full announcement it will be seen that I have proved my conclusions.”
“Einstein is a beggar dressed in purple clothes and made king using dazzling mathematics that obscure truth”…
“Relativity is a massive deception wrapped in a beautiful mathematical cloak.”
“The theory of relativity is a mass of error and deceptive ideas violently opposed to the teachings of great men of science of the past and even to common sense.”
“Too bad, Sir Isaac, they dimmed your renown
And turned your great science upside down.
Now a long-haired crank, Einstein by name,
Puts on your high teaching all the blame.
Says: matter and force are transmutable
And wrong the laws you thought immutable.”
(excerpt from Tesla’s poem “Olympian Gossip”)
“…an explanation based upon pure mathematics of certain things which Professor Einstein has also attempted to explain. My conclusions in certain respects differ from and to that extent tend to disprove the Einstein Theory. My explanations of natural phenomena are not so involved as his. They are simpler, and when I am ready to make a full announcement it will be seen that I have proved my conclusions.”
Tesla measured cosmic ray velocities from Antarus, he said, which he found to be fifty times greater than the speed of light, thus demolishing, he contended, one of the basic pillars of the structure of relativity, according to which there can be no speed greater than that of light.
Tesla also disagreed with the Einstein’s fundamental finding that energy is matter (e = mc2). “I have disintegrated atoms in my experiments with a high potential vacuum tube I brought out in 1896 which I consider one of my best inventions. … But as to atomic energy, my experimental observations have shown that the process of disintegration is not accompanied by a liberation of such energy as might be expected from the present theories.”
